Having campuses at Lismore and Coffs Harbour in northern New South Wales and the southern end of the Gold Coast in Queensland, the university operates the National Marine Science Centre, The Hotel School Sydney and The Hotel School Melbourne.

Admission requirements for undergraduates
The needed entry score for undergraduate degrees is based on the Australian Year 12 qualification, as determined by the Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR). At the Lismore and Coffs Harbour campuses, four residential colleges offer a variety of on-campus housing alternatives. The apartments are contemporary and fully furnished, with a kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathroom.

Coffs Harbour SCU Village
Campus Living Villages, in collaboration with SCU, manages SCU Village in Coffs Harbour. Life on-campus is full with movie nights and themed events, as well as study clubs and cooking workshops.
