Undergraduate admissions: Students are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.0/4.0 or equivalent. 

Students should have completed at least one year of full time study at a university or other institution of higher education.

Accommodation

For the first year of study, overseas students are given housing. Nearly 4,000 places are available at Newcastle University, with about a quarter of them catered. En suite and basic rooms, as well as bigger single rooms and studio flats, are offered. Self-catering rooms are usually found in flats with a communal kitchen.
