Undergraduate:

 

  • Completion of the Indian School Certificate or the All India Senior School Certificate with a 60 per cent average

OR

  • 65 per cent on average for the Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board)

 

Postgraduate:

 

The applicant must have earned an Australian bachelor's degree or an abroad equivalent with a minimum stipulated CGPA or grades in order to apply for admission to a postgraduate course (coursework). For admission to a non-research-based postgraduate school, such as an MBA, some programmes may also require verifiable job experience:

  • It's necessary to have a top-notch degree and related professional experience, and
  • IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 6.0 in any section)

 

Research programme:

 

Aspirants must have a suitable master's degree and a compelling research proposal in order to be admitted to postgraduate research programmes. According to the 2018 Graduate Outcomes Survey, 89.5 per cent of undergraduates were employed, with 78.3 per cent of Federation University's undergraduates having full-time jobs, which is higher than the 72.9 per cent national average. In the 2018 Employer Satisfaction Survey, the university scored 91 per cent, placing it first among all Australian universities for employability satisfaction.   • Various lodging alternatives are available in residences spread out throughout Ballarat, including flexible catering, units, houses, and apartments that are both on and off-campus
  • Each Peter Lalor apartment has a kitchen/common space, two bathrooms, and one study bedroom, and it can house between 10 and 12 students. Single bedrooms with shared bathrooms are available in Peter Lalor Hall. Residents of Peter Lalor can easily stroll to their lessons
  • On the Mt. Helen Campus, you may find Bella Guerin Hall. Bella Guerin Hall consists of independent, two-story structures that can each house 11 students and share a kitchen, living room, dining area, and two bathrooms
  • Jemacra Place is ideally situated near public transportation and a commercial centre with a grocery, chemist, butcher, and post office. It is only a short distance from the Mt Helen Campus. This student community's five- and six-bedroom residences include a paved outside space with a pergola, landscaped gardens, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living, dining, and laundry facilities
  • Camp Street is located in the centre of Ballarat, close to dining establishments, nightclubs, retail centres, and movie theatres. The flats have four-bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens, communal areas, and ensuite studio rooms with kitchenettes. The University's lecture halls, studios, and galleries are placed above the apartments and ensuite rooms
  • Six students can stay in spacious bed/study suites at the Victoria Street House, a sizable historic home. The occupants can access a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, dining area, roomy TV room, and laundry facilities. Additionally, a sizable self-catering kitchen is available. Twelve students can stay in spacious single rooms with bathrooms at the Victoria Street Hotel

When I first started at the university, I had very little knowledge about competitive environments other than online competition and games. At first, there was a lot of pressure on me to do well, but as time went on, the environment became more and more relaxed and fun.
