  • Federation University in Victoria, Australia, is a dual-sector public institution established in 1870. It consists of seven schools (Health, Arts, Business, TAFE etc.) with an enrolment of 11,010 undergraduate, 5,607 postgraduate and 313 research students. A staff of 1,280 members teaches courses such as Philosophy, Landscaping, Human Services and Entrepreneurship, Mental Health etc. 
  • There are seven Federation University campuses; SMB, Berwick, Brisbane, Mt Helen, Camp Street, Wimmera and Gippsland. Except for Camp Street, all the campuses have a library that houses many printed/e-resources and study spaces.   • The FedUni staff will review academic entry requirements and English language requirements to evaluate the application.
  • The students will be sent an International Student Offer and Acceptance Pack, which will include a Letter of Offer, instructions for accepting the offer, and GTE or financial assessment forms to demonstrate eligibility for the cost of living in Australia.
  • Students must sign the offer letter of acceptance and pay the necessary fees after submitting all needed paperwork. A digital Confirmation of Enrollment will thereafter be issued by FedUni (CoE).
  • CoE accepts applications for Australian student visas and advises applicants to plan ahead to ensure they receive their visas on time.
  • To assist with travel, adjustment, locating student housing in Australia, and beginning university life, an international student support guide will be made available. Attending the international student orientation programme, which is held the week before classes start, is required.



  • Candidates must be older than 18 when the CoE is granted in order to apply for UG courses.
  • The equivalent of Australia's Year 12 or its international equivalent is required for applicants. Additional particular entrance requirements could be needed for some courses.
  • Candidates for graduate programmes must have earned an Australian undergraduate degree or an international equivalent. Additional particular entrance criteria could apply to some courses.
