The famous street market in our city is Sikandarpur's Furniture Street Market. It provides, as the name indicates, it provides furniture like chairs, tables, mirrors, etc. My experience there was quite good but the thing was, but the thing which annoyed me a little was that we had to bargain a lot at the prices. Initially they state very high prices, we need to bargain with them to get a reasonably good price but I think it's a good opportunity for the people who stay there because they are the local artists and they get the opportunity to earn and display their talent. I would recommend people going there but they should have good bargaining skills. The furniture there is well handcrafted and the finishing is very good. It is very close to the metro station so it is easily accessible and every type of home decor you can find there from small pen holder to big furniture like dining table or sofas.

One thing you need to know about me is I am from the city of Mumbai and it is an absolute mecca for street markets. Even on smaller, quieter streets you will find a variety of incredibly colourful and incredibly vibrant shops selling all kinds of goods and trinkets. One of these street markets is called Chor Bazaar. Now what is Chor Bazaar you ask? Chor Bazaar is translated to English, a thief market. And you would have guessed by the name that what is being sold there are stolen goods. Now people outside India might think, hey, is that not illegal? But there are some loopholes that people get around to shop at Chor Bazaar. People say, hey, it's just a street name, hey, it's just the name of the market. Stolen goods is not actually what's sold there. But when you go and take a look at it, you'll find that, yes, most of the goods sold are sold loosely and they are very evidently of stolen origins. Now what you might find at Chor Bazaar? You might find a stolen phone or a stolen handbag, chains, even tyres that people have stolen of other people's cars. That is not perhaps the best representation of India when you think of a market full of thieves and probably objects which have emotional value to other people. But it is what it is.

So, in my town, there is a street market called Town Hall which is famous for its cheaper goods and additionally it also includes a lot of household materials and electronic goods. It is well known for its affordable range. The thing we get at very higher price in the market, outside market. We can get it for almost half the amount and it's very close by to our house. So whenever we need any things such as electronic tools or even clothing, it's very famous for its fashion industry. As a fashion industry, the goods are affordable at very lowest prices. We can get all the materials at a wholesale price. I usually go there to get some wholesale goods for my business. I am a fashion designer by profession. So whenever I need some things for my business, I go there for shopping. I purchase a lot of material in wholesale price and I will sell it in a retail price to the customers. That will bring a lot of income to me and I can get in touch with all the retail shopkeepers for further investments and for the businesses. It's very useful in our town.

In India, two most common street market are food market and cloth market. Personally, I prefer visiting the food markets, the street foods that are found in India. I prefer eating outside. If I happen to eat outside, I prefer eating the street foods. You got to taste the street foods of India. There is a spices and sometimes you will find sweets. Name it and you get it. I personally prefer eating momos, which is a Tibetan dish. Shopping clothes on the street market is something that I really don't prefer in India especially because we don't understand the quality and what kind of... what kind of clothes we might be getting. Moreover, the quality is something that I really don't want to compromise.

The street which is located in my city which is famous as a street market is Sarojini Nagar. I really like to go there but sometimes I always avoid to go there because it is a very congested place to go. But there is a huge variety of clothes and especially for women. I visited there with my parents and with my sister. We bought a trouser from there and also bought a top for my sister and she really liked it. The fabric was nice but it is not that much long lasting which really made us worry. But the cloth is not very expensive. It is kind of cheap product. I also bought a gift for my other sister and she wore it in occasion when it was my birthday. We really like to go there again soon.

Yeah, so my experience about visiting the street market in my city, so it's basically situated in the center of the city and it's usually referred as the main road, so it's either sides of that road, even my house is situated there, so the street market is famous for its crockeries, clothes and fresh fruits and vegetables, so my experience going there, so whenever I go, I am very excited about the place because every time I get to see new varieties of clothing and crockeries and even my mom used to come with me for buying fruits, vegetables and different kinds of fruits are available in the market, I usually feel very excited when I go there and I feel there is a good walk because it's a huge place, so overall I enjoy going to that place.

In our local area, there is one market called Sarojini Market. It has a variety of clothes, variety of shops like clothes, handicrafts, shoes, purses and many more. And if you visit there, you will end up saving lots and lots of money as your bargaining skill should be really fantastic if you have to visit Sarojini Market.

A street market in my city is a vegetable market where I usually visit every evening and because it contains a lot of fresh vegetables, especially the green leafy vegetables which the vendors get from the farm directly and it is very much famous because even the celebrities, the local celebrities or the television actors, even they come to shop and buy their favorite vegetables. My experience of being there is good and also it is reasonable even though we are from a good part of eating healthy vegetables and buying from the vendors, especially when the market is freshly kept and bought directly from the fields. So it is a great experience for me to visit the place and to directly buy the vegetables from there. As today's technology has been very advancedly developed, everything has been just in a one click like buying from online through different apps where I don't prefer and I don't get much experience to directly touch and buy. So I feel my street market is the best place where I can go directly and shop. Moreover, I can have a look on it for the good quality. I feel overwhelmed about my street market and I love to shop there.
