The Process For IIT Admission

Candidates must pass their PCM board exams as major subjects with a grade point average of at least 75%. The caste system’s credentials frequently differ in their function. The JEE exams are administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) (JEE Main and JEE Advanced). JEE MAINS marks have no bearing on candidate’s rank for IIT admission because the entire ranking is determined by the candidate’s performance in the JEE advanced test.

After the JEE has given advanced ranks, aspirants must fill out a specific stream with IIT choices. After a few days, counselling begins, with the option that best matches the score and availability of seats contributing to seat distribution. If applicants are admitted to IIT, they must confirm their seat within a particular time frame.

Upon registration, each IIT must finalise its admission date, as well as the method and papers required. All of this information will be made available on the institute’s website.
