University of Law - Leeds is a private university in the UK, formerly named The College of Law of England and Wales. It achieved university status in 2021 and is one of the largest law schools in the UK, providing unique law degrees, specialised legal training, business training and other continuing professional development courses. The university has nine campuses all over the UK and an international branch in Hong Kong.
University of Law - Leeds campus is second to London in job opportunities with more than 200 law firms. The 2014 National Student Survey classified the university with the University of Exeter, University of East Anglia, and the University of Buckingham as the UK's second most successful university regarding students' satisfaction level of 92%. It is also the first for-profit educational institution in the country.
The university houses 8000 students from 120+ nationalities contributing heavily to the campus diversity and community richness. University of Law courses includes contract law, Foundations of Law, Constitutional and Administrative laws, and Criminal laws. In addition, there are optional modules in areas like human rights law, family law etc.
University offers training that will give the students a deeper understanding of the profession and studying law as a social institution. Furthermore, the university provides more than 250 qualified lawyers and business professionals facilitators. Students are taught using practical methods, helping them face academic and real-life barriers.
Apart from delivering unique law programs, the university also offers pre-sessional English courses to international students allowing them to fine-tune their language before opting for a course. Pathways to Law is an opportunity given to students indebted to making a career in law.
