Yes, internships related to your field of study are allowed during your studies in Germany.

- Mandatory internships (required by your degree) do not count toward the annual work limit of 140 full days or 280 half days.
- Voluntary internships (not required by your program) are included in this annual work limit.
- During lectures, you can work up to 20 hours/week; in semester breaks, you may work full-time.
- Earnings are subject to tax and social security, but students earning up to €538/month are typically exempt from income tax.
