The provided pie chart depicts the results of a ten-year study on why Canadian residents go to cultural events. The following are the inferences we can conclude from the data on the pie chart: From the overall observation, we see that Canadians have a high inclination to go to entertainment events. For example, On all three pie charts, we can see that the percentage of people attending entertainment events spikes when compared to other activities specified on the chart, with 60% of people attending celebrations 10 years ago. Inversely we can see a stark contrast in the percentage of people attending work/business on all three pie charts. However, the "Today" pie chart shows a significant improvement from the data on the "10 years ago" pie chart. We can infer that residents accompanying the kids have progressively increased from 10% to 18% to 25% on the "10 years ago", "5 Years ago" and "Today" pie charts respectively. We see a progressive decline in the percentage of residents attending celebrations; the range falls from 28% being the highest to 8% being the lowest of the three pie charts. It would be safe to conclude that the Canadian residients are very enthusiastic when it comes to attending entertainment events as they have shown up consistantly for them.
