End-to-End Application Support

  • MPI Europe is seeking superlative candidates for two full-time, in-person internships in Brussels beginning in September offering a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and practical research and programmatic experience working with experts in a wide range of policy areas.
  • The internships, which will last six months, also offer the opportunity to collaborate directly with policy analysts and senior management. 
  • The successful candidates will be involved in the organization of events, which can help enrich their professional networks. 
  • Only candidates who are work authorized in Belgium will be considered.
  • Applications are due by close of business July 1.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. May be currently enrolled in a master's or PhD program but should be available full-time throughout the internship
  • Demonstrated interest in the field of migration, asylum, or integration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (English is used by staff)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to multitask.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in languages other than English 
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Access
  • Experience with quantitative, qualitative, or policy research

Benefits

  • payment of EUR 1310 or INR 1.17 Lakhs per month
  • lunch vouchers of 8 euros per work day that can be used in grocery stores and most restaurants will be offered
  • relocation expenses are not covered
  • MPI Europe is not able to support visa applications or work permits.
