A Post Study Work visa is a temporary permit letting international graduates stay and work after finishing their degree, without needing immediate employer sponsorship. It bridges toward long-term work permits or permanent residency. Canada, Australia, the UK, Germany, New Zealand and Ireland all offer their own versions with differing durations.

UK permanent residency, officially Indefinite Leave to Remain, requires switching from your student visa to a Skilled Worker visa and completing 5 continuous years on it. Your Masters and 2-year Graduate visa time do not count. Use the Graduate route to find a sponsored job first.

A backlog is a subject or exam you failed on your first attempt. Most universities accept a Master's application with backlogs if they are cleared before you enrol. The USA, UK and Canada count each failed subject once, while Australia, Germany and New Zealand count every failed attempt separately.

By international student headcount, New York University leads any single campus with about 27,532 international students, followed by Columbia and Arizona State. By percentage, Macau University of Science and Technology tops the list at roughly 91.6 percent. Overall enrollment giants like India's IGNOU are mostly domestic distance learners.

For an MBA abroad you should take the GMAT or the GRE, since both are widely accepted worldwide and admissions committees have no strong preference between them. The CAT is designed for Indian IIMs and rarely accepted overseas. You will also need an English test like IELTS, TOEFL or PTE.

Countries like Russia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, the Philippines and China admit Indian students to MBBS without NEET, mainly on Class 12 PCB marks. The crucial catch is that under NMC rules, without a qualifying NEET score you cannot sit the FMGE or practise medicine in India.

The USA remains the overall best country for an MS in Computer Science thanks to its tech ecosystem, top salaries and three-year STEM OPT. But Germany wins on near-free tuition, Canada on a clear PR path, the UK on fast one-year degrees and Ireland as a European tech hub.

TOEFL is moderately hard for Indian students but very manageable with practice. Reading and Writing come easily, while the microphone-based Speaking section and American accents trip people up. Target 100 to 110-plus for elite universities, 90 to 100 for competitive ones, and 80 to 90 for mid-tier schools.
