UK PTE Questions

The PTE Academic, PTE Core, and PTE Academic UKVI exams all cost Rs. 18,900 in India, including GST, while PTE Home costs Rs. 15,300. Outside India, fees vary by country, ranging from GBP 230 in the UK to AUD 490 in Australia, so confirm your test location before booking.

The PTE Academic is a computer-based English test of speaking, writing, reading and listening, scored by AI with results in under 48 hours. Over 4,000 institutions in 70+ countries accept it, including all Australian and New Zealand universities, 99% of UK universities, most Canadian DLIs and 1,200+ US universities.

PTE Academic has no single universal pass mark. Scores range from 10 to 90 across four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The score you need depends on your target university, program, and whether you are applying for admissions only or also for a UK student visa.

PTE Academic scores are valid for two years from the test date - for both standard and UKVI versions. If your score expires before your university or visa application, you will need to retake. Most UK universities and the Home Office will not accept a score older than two years.
