Songs nowadays are very easy to remember because of their catchy phrases and exuberant words. One of such song and one of such stanza from a song that I remember correctly is the song from the movie Khatifa and it was released in 2013. It was basically the official song of Parson's radius part 7. This song is very special because it was released as a tribute to the great actor Paul Walker. He unfortunately died in a car crash during the mid film of QB7 and every cast of that movie was so heartbroken and I must say that not only the cast. This news spread like wild fire all over the social media around the world and every person in the world was so much heartbroken. And when this movie released now with the song of this Khalifa, the song played in the last part of the movie and it was very emotional. People who were watching the movie literally started shedding tears from their eyes and they paid tribute to Paul Walker and it was such a memorable moment.

The line that I'd like to speak about is a lyric from the song See You Again. This song is composed and written by the artist Charlie Puth in collaboration with Wiz Khalifa. It was featured in the Fast and Furious movie, precisely Fast and Furious 7. The line goes, It's been a long day without you my friend. And this line is significant to me because one of my closest friends stays approximately two to three thousand kilometers away in the state of Himachal Pradesh and every time that I miss him, I often listen to this song and it makes me feel slightly nostalgic of the times we shared together, slightly comforted in the times when I am feeling sad and lonely as well as a little bit sad because I'm aware of the reality that we won't meet for quite a long time. While the original song is about the loss of a loved one, I still quite relate heavily to it because the feeling of missing someone is also an extremely strong one that this song manages to evoke very well.

I ever remember that poem The Listeners by Walter De La Mer. It's a poem about a person walking along with his horse in a forest. He's getting tired and wants to take some rest so he's nearing an open house. It's only covered with broken bricks. The roof is not much closed. It's a time of almost night. The line starts with, Is there anybody there? Is there anybody there? said the traveller, knocking on the moonlit door. This is the first line. It's about a traveller's experience in the forest. He wanted to know, wanted to know anybody is there in that house. So, so the curious he making the noise like knocking the door and asking, Is there anybody there? Is there anybody there? But no one is replying for his question. Only the moonlight door is standing there. Because in that house is nowhere. Nowhere is living.

I'm a huge Coldplay fan and definitely one song that I go by is Lights Will Guide You Home by Coldplay. The very line Lights Will Guide You Home and Ignite Your Bones is the line that has been my motivation throughout my lowest of lows. It has been my saviour for the longest times, especially when I felt like I have hit the rock bottom and that there is no way to move past, you know, whatever I'm facing in life in that particular time. This is a song about hope. It talks about how, you know, there is a superpower, there is a higher power in the universe that will always be your guiding light. It will anchor you back, it will show you the path where you need to be, which is why I highly resonate to the song. I think Coldplay in general is a band that has done some amazing songs, Fix You is another, We Pray is another. These are the songs that have been my motivation songs of lately, especially when one is hustling. I think songs become a means to sort of, you know, get that spirit, get that enthusiasm to actually do some sort of hustle in that direction.

The line that I would like to talk about is, goes like, if I ever found a flaw in you, I would say that my eyes are the fraught ones. I like this line because it's very heart-wrenching and very full of emotions. In the line, the writer explains that in his loved one, he can never find any flaw. And if there is any flaw, he says that if he ever found any, he would say that his eyes are the ones that are flawed, meaning that he can never see any imperfections in his significant other. He can never see imperfections in his simply significant other. The line gave me food for thought because I had to sit back and think about it, how beautiful this line is and how much in love one has to be to write it. How much absorbed in the other person's beauty one has to be to write and create such a beautiful piece of poetry, which is not even a full-fledged poem, but just two lines. How can two lines affect us so much? How can they be so much effective?

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One line from a poem that has always stayed with me is from The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference. I first encountered this poem during my high school English class, and the words immediately resonated with me. The poem reflects the choices we make in life, and how even the smallest decisions can shape our future. This line is particularly significant because it serves as a reminder to embrace the unknown and take risks when faced with important choices. It reminds me that sometimes the path less travelled might be the one that leads to most Even though it may be uncertain or difficult, whenever I think of it, I feel motivated and inspired. It encourages me to step outside of my comfort zone to challenge myself and to trust my instincts. It carries a sense of empowerment as if no matter the outcome, the journey itself is worthwhile. Every time I hear or reflect on these words, I feel a renewed sense of purpose and courage to follow my own path.

    Band 7

I would like to say a few words from a poem written by Robert Frost, who is a famous American poet. The lines are from his poem, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. The lines go like this, The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. I remember this poem very vividly because it was the part of my high school assignment that all of us had to submit and also we had to look upon the lines and its hidden meanings. I feel it is very thought provoking and it kind of makes me look into life in a much more philosophical view. It was very famous around that time when I was in high school to learn the lines, especially the last lines which I just recited by rote to impress my fellow classmates. I really find it amazing how the poets in the olden days wrote such beautiful poems, which is a very rare sight nowadays. So this is the reason why I really adore this poem.

I'm not big on singing, but one experience that stands out is back in second grade when I got the opportunity to sing a song in front of a big audience and on a massive stage. I was extremely nervous, didn't really know if I could hold up the reputation of the stage, but I had to give it a try. And the song I sang was Raabta, and the line that I remember till date is, Kuch to hai tudi se raabta, which means there is some eternal connection between the two of us. Now, this is very significant for me because this was the first time I was performing in front of a live audience and that meant a lot to me. If given the opportunity, I would like to recreate that moment again sometime in future, but it made me feel really happy, really at contempt and at peace, though while singing I was extremely nervous and agitated.

    Band 7

A line that I always remember and that is closely related to psychology comes from a popular inspirational poem by Aaron Hansen. The line is, What if I fall? Oh, but what if we fly? I first came across this line when I was reading about self-confidence and fear of failure in psychology. The moment I read it, it felt incredibly powerful. The line beautifully captures how our mind often focuses on negative possibilities even when positive outcomes are just as likely. The poem talks about taking risks, believing in oneself, and challenging the fear that holds us back. Psychologically, it reflects the idea of self-doubt, which is something everyone experiences. Many people avoid opportunities because they are scared of failing, but this line encourages us to shift our mindset from fear to possibility and positiveness. I remember this line so clearly because it's short, deeply motivating. Whenever I am uncertain about making a decision, whether it's about my studies or choices, I repeat this line to myself. It helps me remind myself that growth only happens when we move out of our comfort zone. I also feel that the line expresses a very important psychological truth. Our space and our thoughts shape our actions. If we focus only on our worst outcome, we never progress, but if we imagine what could go right, we open ourselves to new opportunities and growth. Overall, this line has stayed with me because it connects poetry with psychology in a very meaningful way and it always pushes me to think positively and take bold steps.

    Band 7

Not exactly the line, but I do remember the essence of the poem, The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. I read it as a part of my curriculum in, I think, I believe, fourth or fifth standard. At that naive age, it was quite difficult to understand the real meaning of that poem, the poetic lines. But as the life goes by, we do understand the meaning of that, those verses in which the poet was really confused. Or rather, I would say he had to choose between two roads, the one which was more traveled by the travelers, the passengers, which was paved actually by the travelers, and the other one, which maybe have some hardships, but it was the one which was less traveled. And at the end, the poet himself decided to go by the road which was less traveled and which made all the difference in the life. So in, like, in my life also, I've learned that lesson at an early stage that you don't have to follow the path which other are traveling to. You can always choose a different path for yourself and make a mark, make a point and take yourself further, achieve higher, aim higher and reach at a stage in your life just by being you, not following others.

So, one of my favourite songs has to be, I hope to be around by the band Men I Trust and the most significant line from that song for me is, I dream of my future, remote from time bounce, becoming myself without any ends. I found that song when I was going through a tough time in my life. I was having a lot of problems and it was hard to deal with all of them and also work towards my future at the same time. But I found that song and it sort of made me feel free in this world where I felt very restrained and constricted by other people in my life and my life itself as well actually. I felt powerless and very much on the edge because I wanted to be productive all the time and work towards my goals but my problems wouldn't let me. And these lines specifically stuck to me because it's about finding myself and becoming the person that I want to be and I don't have to be held back by anything which doesn't define me. And it really helped me in that time of my struggle and I really love that song beyond any measure and I'm very grateful that I found it.

A line that I fondly remember from a song by an artist named Passenger is, You only miss the sun when it starts to snow. And I don't think I'll ever be able to forget the significance of this line. The entire song is filled with references and meanings trying to explain to you the beauty of life in itself. It's trying to tell you that, you know, life is fleeting and you have such less time with your loved ones. And every single moment that you're going through will soon pass by and there will be brighter days, there will be good days coming. The second reason why this line instantly came to my mind is I'm actually in fact going to attend the artist's concert tomorrow with my best friend from childhood. Additionally, it's also my sister's favourite song and she's getting married really soon so I'm also getting very nostalgic about the kind of things that we did together the kind of musicals we listened to together as well. Whenever I happen to listen to the song it fills me with an abundant sense of gratefulness towards the life that I've been given. It reassures me that no matter what is going on everything will go great. Moreover, it also fills my motivation that I must do better and express how I feel to the ones near me.

    Band 7

One line I remember very clearly from a song is from an underrated Hindi track called Musaafir by Arijit Anand. The line goes by, Chaar pal ki zindagi, usme ek pal khushi, uski kar hifazat abhi. Another part that stays with me is, Itna kyun hai bhaag ka, kya tu vakt se vada, ban gaya hai kafir abhi. These lines are extremely meaningful because they remind me to slow down and appreciate small moments of happiness. The song talks about how life is short, almost like four fleeting moments. And even if you find just one moment of genuine happiness, you should protect it and value it. It also questions why we run endlessly after things, almost as if we are trying to outturn time itself. The idea that sometimes we become so disconnected and rigid, kafir in a metaphorical sense really resonates with me. I heard this song during a phase when I was extremely busy with academics, law school commitments and competitive exams. These lines made me pause and reflect on the pace at which I was living. They reminded me that while ambitious is important, so is emotional imbalance and balance, and appreciating people and moments that truly matter. Even today, whenever I feel overwhelmed or caught up in overthinking, these lines come back to me and almost act like a grounding reminder. They allow you to see and to feel more in the moment that you are living in. Overall, this song stays with me because it blends simplicity and depth, and it reflects a philosophy I genuinely believe in. That life is short. Very short. And we should not lose ourselves while chasing the things that we truly desire. We should value the small moments and we should appreciate life more.

    Band 7

I really love to listen to songs, so I have a lot of lyrics that are really meaningful to me or in the sense that they just resonate a lot with everything that's going on in my life or everything that has happened with me in the past. Some of those songs are Taylor Swift songs. I'm an avid listener of Taylor Swift, I would say, because of the way she presents the songs is really, it really tugs on my heartstrings, honestly. One of her songs named This Is Me Trying, it was released during the COVID times and it is a really, it is a song that is really close to my heart. One of the lines of the song that I was so ahead of the curve that the curve became a sphere, it reflects a lot about how my life is. I try to be so ahead and then there's nobody there that I feel like I'm still behind and it keeps going on and it's like a, it's like a loop of life. That song always reminds me that no matter what happens, that I should always keep trying and it's not, it's not about just being ahead. It's also about having, it's also about having the courage to be ahead alone. You should not just go ahead and feel lonely there. It was one of the songs that I kept listening to again and again at the time it was released and it's still one of my favorite songs. It is from the album, it is from the album Folklore and a lot of songs on Folklore are really, resonated really with the public and the album itself was a reflection of everything that was going on during the COVID pandemic days. So everybody

One of my favourite lines from the song would be, we keep this love in a photograph. Photograph is a song by Ed Sheeran that was released in 2018 and has been very close to my heart ever since. It shows us how, it actually shows us how technology has enabled us to capture the fleeting moments in life that slips through without notice because even if things move forward, that specific picture will hold things as it is and it makes me feel nostalgic and grateful for what I had. I don't get to spend a lot of time with the people who I've had my happiest moments in life with but every single time I look at a photograph, I get to relive that moment once again which is a beautiful thing to experience.
