When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, I would like to talk about a song which I have heard during my school days, whenever I have heard this song, I instantly feel calmness, it means like I was feeling a sense of peace in that song, and I especially like to hear this song, the song name is Tuhi Re, Tere Bina Mein Kaise Jiyon, this song is picturized on seashore, and that I like the most about that song, and the song is a little bit gloomy, and that is also a very good part of that, and the song has a little bit sad genre, which is a good part and bad part as well, but however the song is narrated, and however the actors have portrayed that song nearby the seashore, that is showing the importance of the song, and they are delivering how the actor is describing his feelings, and he is missing her life partner, because in the song he is trying to say that he is missing his life partner, and so that is why I usually like this song, and it is like whenever I like to hear this song, I just play on my laptop, and I feel peace, because whenever I am not feeling good, like I am a little bit stressed, I have a little bit stress, then in that case I try to play these kind of songs, which helps me to keep calm.

Let it go. This phrase is from the song Frozen 2. I heard this song from my cousin when she was 8 years old and she was just blabbering and I just googled about it and I like started liking this song. The word let it go which has a lot of meaning in it that is we cannot hold our emotions ourselves nor the people. So we have to let them go or else we'll be in that position to get troubled, disturbed or even annoyed. So I started using this phrase in my life and also started to implement a bit in which way I can improvise and later it was useful. Actually before I would not let go of any people and would simply stuck towards that but nowadays I'm letting everything go and even that gives me peace.

The line which I remember or which sticks to me is from a song known as If I Were Man by Taylor Swift. The line goes like, would they have remembered what I was wearing when I was angry if I was a man? Which is quite striking to me because it is actually, in reality this happens whenever a lady or someone in a position reprimands someone or says something, they always remember what they are wearing and what they judge based on the wearing, which is really misogynistic and I really do not appreciate it, but it does happen in reality. So that line really, really sticked with me, even in my life I've seen many people, not only men but women as well, who say such kind of things, which is not actually related to what the person in power or the woman had said, they are like, it is just what they have said, like whatever they have said is because we made a mistake and they being angry is obvious to me, but when I compared to it, if I were a man, I imagined if, do people really talk about men like that as well, then I actually never was able to recall an instance where some men said something and we like taunted them or said bad things about their clothing, it never really happened, so it really shows the partiality in the society. A great song, actually.

One of the most favorite lines for me is from a book called Bridges to the Soul. It was from a book by poet Rumi, it is called Bridges to the Soul. This poem called, this poem comprised of almost 20 sentences from which my favorite line was slow down to speed up. This sentence impacted me so much that I started practicing the concept of slow living into my life and my family got quickly adapted into this practice. And as a result of this, my entire stretch of people surrounding us started seeing notable changes within our family. We were a family of four who always had conflicts between us and differences in opinion. But once I started implementing this practice of slowing down and having moments of togetherness, such as for example, sitting in the balcony every evening and having a tea together made so much impact, the conversation, so much impact in our lives. The conversations we had were so deep that we never had time to quarrel with each other, but we started caring for each other more. Additionally, there were also many manifestations that came that started happening in our lives that like we soon bought a car to facilitate a smooth travel for the four of us together. This is very commendable because previous to this, we just had our individual bikes, but now the thought of

While such instance one day when I was reading, I came across this poetry by WB Yeats and when I read it, it had an impactful effect on me, especially the concluding lines of the poetry. The concluding lines of the poetry said, the old men say, the old old men say, that life passes away just like water. What made an drastic understanding of the poetry was that with aid to nature, it reveals the cruel reality of life but easing it with the metaphor of nature. Furthermore, it has a universal appeal to every reader whether it is a young person reading it or an old man by the river reading it. It is, it gives a sense or an ambience of an old person with wisdomful words conveying a message to you, lending you a comforting advice which shall be with you for the rest of your life. So the line from the poem that I remember is good better best never let it rest for good can be better and better can be best. This line was from a poem in my four standard textbook of English and it has been in my mind since I don't know 22 years now. So that line has helped me shape my life and taught me the value of hustling and how we should never give up and keep practicing and keep adding value and adding practice to everyday actions and things so that we get a result that is not just good not just better but the best. I have always felt motivated by reading or listening that line because it tells us not to give up and it also explains very beautifully that you can always do better in life and there is no limit sky is the limit they say. So that is what I believe in since I was in first standard and it has helped me a lot in making many important decisions so that line was quite close to my heart.
