To study and work in Canada, you’ll need to go through the study permit and post-graduation work permit (PGWP) processes. Here’s how it works:

Study Permit:
- Apply after receiving an admission letter from a designated learning institution.
- Application fee: CAD 150 (subject to change)
- Biometrics fee: CAD 85 (subject to change)
- You’ll need a valid passport, proof of funds, acceptance letter, medical exam (if required), police clearance, and IELTS scores (typically 6.0 - 6.5 overall, varies by institution).

Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP):
- Eligible if your program is at least 8 months at a recognized institution.
- Apply within 180 days of completing your program.
- Application fee: CAD 155 (subject to change)
- Open work permit holder fee: CAD 100 (subject to change)
- Biometrics fee: CAD 85 (subject to change)

Living expenses and health insurance are extra and vary by location. Requirements and fees are subject to change.
