What is the 29 June 2026 dMAT exemption cutoff, and how exactly does it work?
Any one of these completed before 29 June 2026 exempts you: you finished your APS online registration, shipped your complete APS documents to Delhi, or received your APS certificate. It is based on submission date, not issue date, and it does not carry forward to a fresh APS application.
Any one of the following, completed before 29 June 2026, exempts you from the dMAT for that specific APS procedure: you completed your APS online registration, you shipped your complete APS application documents to the Delhi office, or you already received your APS certificate.
The cutoff in plain terms
| Condition met before 29 June 2026 | Exempt for this APS application? |
|---|---|
| Completed APS online registration | Yes |
| Shipped complete APS documents to Delhi | Yes |
| Already received your APS certificate | Yes |
| None of the above | No, dMAT applies if your field and intake match |
The submission-date nuance you must not miss
This exemption holds even if your hardcopy documents physically arrive at APS India after 29 June 2026, as long as the registration or shipment itself happened before the cutoff. The cutoff is based on the submission date, not the certificate issue date, so if you shipped documents on 27 June 2026 but your certificate was only issued in July, you still qualify. However, the exemption does not carry forward: if you file a fresh APS application at a later date, the rules in force at that later date apply, not your earlier exemption.
My Advice
Keep your registration confirmation email or courier tracking receipt from around 29 June 2026 somewhere safe, even if it feels irrelevant today. If APS India ever needs to verify your submission date, a screenshot or courier slip is worth far more than your memory of when you applied.
