The step-by-step registration process

Go to the official g.a.s.t. dMAT portal (linked from d-mat.de/en/dmat-in-india) and create an account. Enter your details exactly as they appear on your passport, since g.a.s.t. checks ID against registration at the test centre and will not admit a mismatch. Select a test centre from the available list, since seats are first-come, first-served. Pay the €150 (approximately Rs.16,500) registration fee online through the portal, then save your confirmation page as a screenshot or PDF.

After registration, g.a.s.t. grants you immediate access to your test-taker's portal. This is where your certificate becomes downloadable once results are published, so keep your login details safe.

Keep your passport open on the desk next to your laptop while you fill in the registration form.
