No, you do not need to show the full ₹45 lakh for your visa application. The required proof of funds is based on your actual tuition fees and estimated living expenses, which are usually much less than ₹45 lakh.

- UK: Show funds for tuition (as listed on your CAS) plus living expenses - typically £1,329/month (London) or £1,023/month (outside London) for up to 9 months.
- USA: Show funds for tuition (as per your I-20) plus estimated living expenses for one year.
