Yes, after completing your master's in the USA, you can stay and gain work experience through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
- OPT allows F-1 students to work in the U.S. for up to 12 months in a job related to their field.
- If your degree is in a STEM field, a 24-month extension (total 36 months) may be available.
- You must have studied full-time for at least one academic year and be in valid F-1 status.
- You cannot start working until you receive your Employment Authorization Document (EAD).
