Will I get a scholarship if I apply for the September intake in Ireland/Dublin?

It depends. Most major scholarships for Ireland, such as the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) and university-specific awards like the UCD Global Excellence Scholarship, are targeted at the September intake. However, for September 2026, key deadlines have already passed as of 18 June 2026.

- GOI-IES: Full tuition waiver + €10,000 stipend, deadline was 12 Mar 2026 (subject to change).
- UCD Global Excellence: Up to 100% tuition waiver, deadlines ranged from 1 Feb to 31 Mar 2026 (subject to change).
- NCI Dublin Scholarship: €7,500 for Indian postgraduates, deadline was 15 May 2026 (subject to change).

Some universities may still offer merit-based or late-round scholarships, but options are limited after deadlines close. For better chances, consider applying for the January 2027 intake or explore university-specific scholarships with rolling deadlines.
