Which items must I leave outside when I enter the TMS exam hall?
The TMS follows strict security rules, so electronic devices and similar items must stay out of the exam hall. Plan what you carry so you avoid delays on test day.
Prohibited Items
| Item | Allowed in the hall? |
|---|---|
| Mobile phones | No |
| Smartwatches and digital watches with communication features | No |
| Calculators | No |
| Laptops, tablets or other electronic devices | No |
| Cameras or recording devices | No |
| Wireless earphones or headphones | No |
| Any device that can store or transmit information | No |
Why It Matters
Breaking the rules can cause unnecessary delays or even disqualification. The permitted and prohibited item lists are set by the exam organisers, so they can be updated.
My Advice
Read the official examination instructions a few days before your test and pack only what is allowed. If you are unsure about an item, leave it at home rather than risk your attempt.
