The module tests whether you can reason through unfamiliar academic material using the data given in the passage itself, not whether you already studied that subject. Even so, candidates without a strong math background found the three math passages genuinely difficult despite the necessary information being provided in the question.
My Advice
Do not prepare for this module by trying to master finance, DFA theory, or economics in advance. Instead, practise reading unfamiliar passages quickly and pulling out only the data you need to answer the question, since that reasoning skill, not prior subject knowledge, is what this module is actually testing.
