Exam-day logistics are easy to underestimate until you are the one scrambling the morning of, so this checklist comes directly from one of our student's own dMAT preparation.

The Night-Before Checklist

ItemWhy It Matters
Transparent water bottleThe only bottle type allowed inside the hall
ID proofSame document used at registration
Printed admit cardDigital was accepted at her centre too, but a printed backup removes one point of failure
Meals and break snacksPlanned ahead, since you can eat during the mandatory 30-minute break

Beyond Packing

She also recommends maintaining a regular sleep schedule in the days leading up to the exam, and planning your travel and venue location well in advance. Some candidates in her cohort travelled 1 to 2 hours to reach their test centre, so this is not a step to leave until the morning of.

My Advice

Do a full dry run of your route to the test centre at least once before exam day if you have never been there, especially if your travel time is over an hour. Combine that with arriving 60 to 90 minutes before your reporting window, so a delay on the way does not put your whole exam slot at risk.
