There is no difference in post-study work visa options between one-year and two-year MSc programs in Germany.

After completing either program, you are eligible for an 18-month Job Seeker Residence Permit. This allows you to stay in Germany for up to 18 months after graduation to search for a job related to your degree. During this time, you can work in any job to support yourself.

Once you secure a job relevant to your qualification, you can apply to switch to a work residence permit or an EU Blue Card.
