You should show all funds in your bank account that are immediately accessible and have been held for at least 28 consecutive days before your UK or Ireland student visa application.

- Funds must be in your name (personal or joint account).
- Closing balance should be dated no more than 31 days before your application.
- Avoid showing funds in fixed deposits or business accounts if they are not instantly accessible.
- Large, unexplained deposits may raise questions about the source.

There is no need for funds to be "matured" beyond the 28-day rule. If you need help preparing your financial documents, please contact your LeapScholar counsellor.
