What are the post-study work permit and PR options for a one-year or two-year Master's in Ireland?

If you complete a one-year master's in Ireland, you can get a 2-year post-study work permit (Stamp 1G) to look for jobs. After finding a qualifying job and working for up to 2 years on a Critical Skills permit, you become eligible for long-term residency (Stamp 4). Time spent as a student does not count towards permanent residency. Two-year courses follow similar rules but give you more time to network and find work.
