Is the dMAT Core Module different from the Subject Module I may need to take?
The Core Module is compulsory for every candidate and tests general cognitive aptitude, while the Subject Module applies only to your chosen field, where a module exists, and tests applied subject knowledge from your Bachelor's degree. Both typically run around 90 minutes, and the Subject Module varies by field.

Planning Your Prep
- Your Core Module result does not stand alone on your APS file.
- The Core Module has no content syllabus, since it is pure aptitude.
- The Subject Module has no fixed textbook syllabus either, so revise applied concepts from your degree.
My Advice
Split your prep time between both modules. Practise question formats for the Core Module and revise your Bachelor's fundamentals for the Subject Module. Confirm timings and availability on the official dMAT page.
