Yes, as an international student in the UK, you can work part-time during your studies, subject to specific conditions.

- During term time: You can work up to 20 hours per week if enrolled in a degree-level course.
- During official university vacations: You may work full-time.
- Visa conditions: Your visa will state your work permissions. Check your visa vignette or eVisa for details.
- National Insurance Number: You must obtain this before starting any job.
- Restrictions: Self-employment, business activities, and permanent full-time roles are not allowed during your studies.

After graduation, you may be eligible for the Graduate Route visa, which allows you to work or look for work in the UK for up to two years (subject to change).

If you need help with the process or documentation, please contact your LeapScholar counsellor.
