How Is the dMAT Core Module Structured and Timed?
The Core Module runs as three back-to-back subtests, Figure Sequences, Mathematical Equations and Latin Squares, each 20 questions in 25 minutes, per one of our student's actual dMAT attempt. A 2-minute optional break sits between the first two, then a mandatory 30-minute break follows the third.
Knowing the exact shape of the Core Module before you sit it removes one entire source of exam-day surprise, and this breakdown comes from one of our student's own attempt.

My Advice
Do not assume the General Academic Module starts automatically once the 30-minute break ends. Per this account, the examiner has to manually activate it, and that requirement is not widely publicised, so budget a little extra attention right after your break rather than expecting the screen to move on by itself.
