How do I sponsor my education, and can I get a loan for tuition fees in UK?
Yes, you can sponsor your education in the UK using personal funds or an education loan.
You must show proof of funds for both tuition fees (as listed on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies, or CAS) and living expenses. The current UK student visa requirements are:
- Tuition fees: Amount specified on your CAS for the first academic year.
- Living expenses: £1,334/month (up to 9 months) if studying in London, or £1,023/month (up to 9 months) if outside London. These amounts are subject to change.
You need to provide financial evidence - such as bank statements or a sanctioned education loan letter - showing you’ve held the required funds for at least 28 consecutive days before your visa application.
