- Tuition and fees: The amount is listed on your Form I-20 from your university.
- Living expenses: Includes accommodation, food, and other personal costs.
- Typical total: $30,000 - $80,000 for the first year, depending on your school and location (subject to change).

Acceptable proof includes recent bank statements, scholarship letters, education loan sanction letters, or affidavits of support if someone else is funding you. Non-liquid assets (like property) are not accepted. All documents should be recent, clear, and in English.
