Do I have to keep the entire living expenses amount for the whole one year period or just until I get my visa in UK?

Yes, you must show proof of the full living expenses amount for up to 9 months at the time of your UK Student Visa application - not just until your visa is granted.

- London: £1,529/month (up to £13,761 for 9 months)
- Outside London: £1,171/month (up to £10,539 for 9 months)

You must hold this amount in your account for at least 28 consecutive days before applying. This requirement is subject to change and is needed to prove you can support yourself during your studies.
