Germany is generally the more affordable option, with strong post-study work opportunities and many English-taught programs. Singapore offers a vibrant, English-speaking environment and excellent career prospects, but at a higher cost.

- Germany: Low or no tuition fees at public universities, only a small semester fee. Graduates can stay for up to 18 months on a job seeker visa. Strong demand for IT and engineering professionals. Learning some German (B1 - B2) is helpful but many programs are in English.
- Singapore: Higher tuition fees (SGD 20,000 - 45,000/year, subject to change). English is the main language of instruction and daily life. Graduates can apply for a one-year Long-Term Visit Pass to find a job, with possible extension.

If affordability and a longer post-study work visa are your priorities, Germany is often the better choice. If you prefer a dynamic, English-speaking city with a global business focus, Singapore is a strong alternative.
