After your admission and loan approval, your education loan usually covers tuition fees first, paid directly to the university. The portion approved for living expenses is then disbursed to your Indian bank account.

Once you arrive in the UK, it's best to open a UK bank account for easier access to these funds and daily expense management.

For your UK student visa, you must show funds for living expenses - £1,171/month outside London or £1,529/month in London (subject to change). Your loan sanction letter can be used as financial proof if it covers both tuition and living costs.
