Will NTU help me find a job after graduation, like campus placement in India?

Campus placements as they work in India, companies coming to campus during final year and offering jobs directly, do not happen at NTU, NUS, or SMU in the same way. Students at Singapore universities find jobs through career fairs, networking, the university job portal, and personal outreach. NTU and NUS both have career centres and student-specific job portals where companies post roles, and some students do land jobs and internships through these channels.

• The mentor was frank: the job market globally is difficult right now and Singapore is not insulated from this.
• She personally found the career centre and alumni resources at SMU limited in real-world usefulness.
• Some students intern at a company and get converted into full-time offers, this is often the most reliable path to employment.
• The most effective approach is building a professional network during the degree itself so that when graduation arrives, there are existing relationships to activate.
