No, your existing 10-year re-entry visa will not affect your study visa application.
As of January 2026, Canada has discontinued 10-year multiple-entry visas, including re-entry visas. Your current 10-year visa is no longer valid for entry.
To study in Canada, you must apply for a study permit. If you are from a visa-required country, you will also need a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), which is usually granted for the same period as your study permit. Visa decisions are now made case-by-case, and the previous 10-year visa will not influence your new application.
