Will my current resume be acceptable for university applications, or do I need help updating it in UAE for a Master's?
You will likely need to update your resume for UAE university applications.
With 10 years of work experience in Computer Science, your resume should clearly highlight your academic background, relevant professional roles, technical skills, and any key projects or achievements related to your intended master's program.
- A two-page resume is appropriate for your experience level.
- Focus on recent, relevant positions and summarize older roles.
- Ensure your education, skills, and any research or certifications are easy to find.
Resume standards for UAE universities can be specific, so updating your resume to match these expectations will strengthen your application. If you need help refining your resume, your LeapScholar counsellor can guide you.

Yes, most universities abroad, especially for master's programs, require a resume (CV) as part of the application. Your resume summarizes your academic background, work experience, skills, and achievements for the admissions committee.
Requirements can vary by university and program - some may collect this information through the application form instead of a separate CV.
For master's programs in the UAE, check the specific requirements of each university.
