Yes, after completing a diploma in Canada, you can stay and work through the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).

- 8 months to <2 years diploma: PGWP valid for same length as your program (e.g., a 12-month diploma = 12-month work permit).
- 2 years or longer diploma: PGWP valid for up to 3 years.

Your program must be full-time at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI), and you must apply for the PGWP within 180 days of finishing your diploma. As of Nov 1, 2024, language proficiency proof is required (minimum CLB 5 for college graduates). The PGWP is a one-time opportunity and subject to change.
