Will I be part of the research team only, and can I join private companies or government jobs after the course in UK for a Master's?

No, you are not limited to research roles after your master's in the UK. You can work in private companies or government jobs.

The UK Graduate Visa (post-study work visa) allows international students to stay and work for up to two years after completing a master's degree (duration reducing to 18 months for applications from 1 January 2027; subject to change). During this time, you can work in most jobs, be self-employed, or start a business - employer sponsorship is not required.

To explore long-term work options, you can switch to a Skilled Worker visa if you secure a qualifying job offer during your Graduate Visa period.
