If your priority is a clearer path to working legally after the master's, weigh Ireland more heavily, its Critical Skills framework gives ICT and data-analytics graduates a defined route that the US H-1B lottery simply does not offer. If prestige and research depth matter more than settlement certainty, the USA's stronger research ecosystem is worth the added cost and visa uncertainty.
