The US wins the brand-recognition question by a wide margin among Indian students, but that does not automatically make it the best answer once you weigh cost, duration and post-study work rules against your own budget and career goals.

My Advice

Do not default to the US just because it is the name that comes to mind first. Write down your actual priorities, budget, speed to graduation, or post-study work length, and rank the five countries against those specifically, rather than against general reputation. Most students I have worked with land on a different top choice once cost and visa runway are put in front of them alongside prestige.
