Where can I find out if my PTE score is still valid for my application?
To check your PTE score validity, log in to your My PTE account, go to My Scores, and find the test date of the exam you want to check. Then calculate the two year expiry date from that test date. Use the exam date, not the booking date.
You can check your PTE score validity in a few minutes from your online account. The key is to count from the right date.
Steps to Check Validity
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Log in to your My PTE account on the official PTE website |
| 2 | Go to the My Scores section |
| 3 | Find the test date of the PTE test you took or want to refer to |
| 4 | Calculate the 2 year expiry date from that test date |
Common Mistake to Avoid
Do not confuse the date you booked the PTE exam with the exam date. The exam date is the day you go to the test centre and appear for the test, and that is the date you should count from.
My Advice
Note your expiry date and compare it with your application deadline. Some universities may have their own validity rules, so check the official university page as well.
