You must meet the English language requirement by taking an approved test. For Canada and most other countries, the most commonly accepted options are:

- IELTS Academic
- TOEFL iBT
- PTE Academic
- Duolingo English Test (accepted by some institutions)

Each university sets its own minimum scores, which are subject to change. Some may waive this requirement if you have studied in English or meet specific criteria.

Plan to prepare for and book your test well in advance, ensuring your scores will be valid at the time of your application.
