When should I start preparing for the GMAT and how long does it typically take to prepare in Singapore for a Master's?

Most students need 2 - 6 months to prepare for the GMAT, with 2 - 4 months being typical for a structured study plan.

Since you're targeting a Master's in Singapore for September 2027, it's best to start GMAT prep by March or April 2026. This gives you enough time to finish prep, take the test, and retake if needed before most application deadlines (usually September - October 2026).

If you need a personalized study plan, your LeapScholar counsellor can guide you on next steps.
