When are the SAT exam dates in 2026 and 2027 for Indian students applying to the US?
India follows the same global digital SAT calendar as the US. The remaining 2026 dates are 22 August, 12 September, 3 October, 7 November and 5 December. Confirmed 2027 spring dates are 6 March, 1 May and 5 June, with an anticipated autumn schedule from late August to December.
You will sit the digital SAT in India on exactly the same dates as students in the US, and registrations for the 2026 to 2027 testing year are already open. Which date you pick depends on your grade and whether you are targeting Early Action, with its November deadlines, or Regular Decision in January, so plan around your board exams too.

My Advice
Watch the next day morning trap: US deadlines close at 11:59 PM Eastern, which lands the following morning in India, roughly 9:30 to 10:30 AM IST, so never register on the last calendar day. If you plan to borrow a College Board device, request it at least 30 days before your test. Book a primary date and a backup that both sit well clear of your board exams, and you will avoid the panic most students face.
