What is the visa approval rate for students going to Canada?
The Canadian student visa approval rate for Indian applicants has dropped sharply in recent years. As of August 2025, only 26% of Indian student visa applications were approved, compared to 68% in August 2023. This decline is due to policy changes like the Temporary Resident Integrity Strategy (TRIS) and the closure of the Student Direct Stream (SDS) in late 2024.
