What is the licensing procedure after completing a clinical psychology course in Dubai? Do I need to take an additional exam for the license or does it work the same way as in India?

In Dubai, you must obtain a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) professional license to practice as a clinical psychologist. This process is more formal and includes an additional licensing exam, unlike India.

Key steps:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from a DHA-recognized institution
- At least 2 years of supervised post-graduate clinical experience
- Primary Source Verification of your qualifications and experience via DataFlow
- Pass the DHA Prometric exam (150 MCQs, code CPS5071)
- Register through the DHA Sheryan portal after meeting all requirements

The main difference from India is the mandatory DHA exam in Dubai.
