You will usually need to take an English language proficiency test such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE to apply for a master's in the UK or Ireland. Some universities may waive this if your bachelor's degree was taught entirely in English and you can provide a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate, but this is not guaranteed and depends on each institution.

For certain programs, you might also need:
- GRE for some STEM or social science courses
- GMAT for business or management courses
- LNAT for law programs in the UK

Requirements vary by university and course.
