Part-time master's programs in Ireland are designed for students who want to study over a longer period, usually with classes in the evenings or on weekends.

However, international students cannot get a student visa for part-time or distance learning courses in Ireland. Only full-time courses listed on the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP) qualify for a student visa. Without this visa, you are not eligible for the work rights or post-study options available to full-time international students.

If you want to study and work in Ireland, you must enroll in a full-time master's program.
