You must show proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses when applying for a student visa.

- UK: You need to demonstrate funds for your first-year tuition (as listed on your CAS) plus living costs. Living expenses are £1,334/month (London) or £1,023/month (outside London), each for up to 9 months. Funds must be held for at least 28 consecutive days before your application.

- Germany: You typically need to show at least €11,208 (about €934/month) for one year, usually via a blocked account (Sperrkonto).

Requirements are subject to change. If you have dependents, additional funds are required.
